In Central Florida, sunset shifts by more than an hour between winter and summer. An astronomical timer eliminates the need to reprogram your lights every few months. It also means your system responds to actual daylight, not a fixed clock, which matters on overcast days when lights coming on late are a visible problem.
Common questions
Can you add smart control to my existing system?
In most cases, yes. Many modern smart low-voltage controllers are compatible with existing cable infrastructure and transformer brands. We assess your current setup and let you know what is and is not compatible before quoting the retrofit.
Does the system work if my Wi-Fi goes down?
Yes. Smart controllers retain their last programmed schedule locally, so lights continue to turn on and off as scheduled even without an internet connection. You just cannot control them remotely until the connection is restored.
Which voice assistants are supported?
This depends on the specific controller we install. Most current smart landscape lighting controllers support Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Apple HomeKit compatibility varies by brand. We discuss your preferences during the estimate.
